This is an outstanding example of a later production Winchester Model 92 rifle that was manufactured in 1927. The upper left rear barrel flat is marked "-MODEL 92 -WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK- 25-20 W.C.F". The two-line address is on the opposite, and the Winchester oval proof is marked on the top barrel flat and receiver at the breech. The upper tang is marked "WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK/MADE IN U.S.A." and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. The barrel is fitted with a dovetailed blade front sight with a brass bead and an adjustable rear buck horn sight. Full magazine, all blue finish and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm with a metal forend cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate. Comes with an original box with the correct end label for rifle configuration, "ALWAYS/Use WINCHESTER Ammunition" label on the lid, and cardboard dividers.

Near new in box. The rifle retains 99% plus original blue finish with some wear on the sides of the hammer from normal cycling. The wood is near new with only light handling/storage marks. The markings are sharp. The action is excellent. The box is very fine.
