Manufactured in 1949. Has a nickel bead front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel has the second style inscription and is stamped with an oval "W/P" proofmark. The proofmark is also stamped on the top front of the receiver. Mounted on a 17 groove flat bottom forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, 98% plus of the bright original blue finish remains with some minor cycling wear and some scattered minor scratches. The wood is also excellent with some scattered minor scratches and light dings. Mechanically excellent.
