Manufactured in early 1948. This combination of a round barrel chambered in .22 LR, was only manufactured for two years. Has a nickel bead front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The barrel has the second style marking that started in the 40,000 serial number range and ended in the 250,000 range. The "W/P" in an oval proofmark is stamped on the top rear of the barrel and top front of the receiver. Mounted on a 17 groove flat bottom walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine, 90% plus of the original blue finish remains with some high edge wear, scattered minor scratches and some cycling wear. The wood is also very fine with some scattered dings, scratches and wear. Mechanically excellent.
