Manufactured in 1895. The barrel has a fixed blade front sight and a fixed rear sight. The first style marking is stamped on the top of the barrel and the caliber marking is stamped at the breech end. Mounted on a 12 groove round walnut forearm and straight grip stock with curved steel buttplate.

Very fine, 75% of the original blue finish remains with some scattered minor scratches, some dings, high edge and cycling wear along with extensive flaking on the magazine tube. The casehardened components retain 50% of the slightly faded original case colors with some freckles of oxidation and some light scratches. The wood is also very fine with scattered minor scratches and dings along with some discolored areas. Mechanically excellent.
