Manufactured between 1922 and 1932. Has a beaded blade front sight and an elevation rear sight along with a tang mounted Lyman peep sight. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered plastic buttplate. This example has the early "S" prefix which should not be used with high speed ammunition.

Extremely fine as partially refinished (wood) with 99% plus of the original blue finish remaining, a few scattered minor scratches and minor high edge wear. The casehardened components retain 98% of the vivid original case colors with smooth brown patina on the lever. The wood is very fine as refinished with some scattered minor scratches and a sanded moderate chip at the toe. Mechanically excellent.
