Description:

The star inspection stamp was only done for about five years in the 1920s. Has an ivory beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight along with a tang mounted peep sight. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered plastic buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, 90% of the original blue finish remains with some high edge wear and some cleaned oxidation along the magazine tube. 75% of the original case colors remain with some small areas of cleaned oxidation, some brown discoloration and a silvery patina on the balance. The wood is also very fine with scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
