The left frame side is stamped "38 CAL" and "C". Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" at the top.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 95% original frost nickel finish with scattered minor wear and flaking. The grips are also very good with a few minor dings and bruises in the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The cylinder does not lock up, otherwise the action functions well.
