Manufactured in 1948 during the transition period (late 1945 to 1951). Hooded ramp front sight and folding adjustable rear sight on a barrel with the Winchester legend on the left side. Equipped with a Weaver K4 scope on a Redfield mount. Transition safety, polished bolt numbered to gun and leather sling. The straight comb pistol grip stock features checkering and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains nearly 97% of the original blue finish showing some minor thinning on the floor plate and some very scattered minor handling marks (mostly on the buttplate). The stock is also very fine with some scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. The left side of the stock has been inletted for a now removed receiver sight. Mechanically excellent. The scope has clear optics.
