Manufactured in 1940. Hooded brass beaded blade front sight on a stippled ramp and an elevation adjustable sporting rear sight. Both of the receiver rings are matted with the front ring factory tapped for scope mounting. The barrel has two tapped holes for scope mounting. The barrel has the standard markings along with the caliber marking "22 HORNET". The receiver has the "cloverleaf" tang. The bolt body is polished bright with the matching serial number "28933" marked on the bottom and the safety is the Pre-War style. Mounted on a Deluxe figured multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine with 98% of the original blue finish remaining with the buttplate and sling swivels turning a smooth brown along with some minor wear. The two tapped holes in the barrel are a later addition. The stock is excellent and shows some scattered minor handling marks and a few moderate dings. Mechanically excellent.
