Manufactured in 1952. There is a hooded blade front sight on a stippled ramp, the rear sight dovetail has a filler block installed and there is a fully adjustable Lyman 57ES peep sight mounted to the left rear of the receiver. The top of the receiver is grooved to facilitate scope mounting. "SPORTING" is stamped in front of the magazine well. Mounted on a diamond pattern checkered walnut pistol grip stock with sling swivels, plastic grip cap and serrated steel buttplate.

Excellent, 99% of the original blue finish remains with some minute high edge wear and a few scattered minor handling marks. The stock is also excellent with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
