This example appears to be a BSA Martini action that has been converted from an underlever to a side lever. The barrel has also been replaced with an octagon stainless barrel with integral scope base and is poorly stamped "218 MASH BEE" on the left side. The top of the barrel is tapped for a rear sight just in front of the objective lens of the Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10 Tactical scope. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a Pachmayr buttpad. The forearm has been bedded to the barrel. With a set of RCBS .218 Mashburn bee full length dies.

Fine as custom built, 99% of the blue finish remains with some moderate pitting underneath the finish on the trigger guard and a few small spots of pitting on the receiver. The barrel retains 99% of the matte stainless finish with some scattered minor scratches. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. The scope tube has some scratches and clear optics.
