Description:

This is an excellent example of a DWM Model 1908 Commercial Luger pistol in 9mm caliber. Blank chamber with the DWM monogram on the toggle link. The left side of the barrel extension, breechblock, toggle and underside of the barrel are marked with a single "Crown/N" Commercial proof. Numbered in the commercial manner with the full serial number on the frame and underside of the barrel with the last two digits "11" on some of the various smaller parts. Standard safety area and extractor markings, straw colored small parts, blue later production replacement magazine numbered to another gun (1966t) and fitted with checkered walnut grips with a small "31" stamped on the inside of the left panel.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% original blue finish remaining, showing some muzzle and high edge wear. 90% of the original straw color remains. The grips are excellent with some minor handling wear and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
