Description:

1) Otto Roehling production Luftwaffe summer pattern flyer's cap, with a detachable white top, alloy eagle and cockade wreath, a yellow waffenfarbe trimmed back band, and a black leather visor and chinstrap. The interior is white cloth lined, with the Roehling marks on the sweat diamond and a brown leather sweatband with the size mark "55" in ink on the inside. 2) Tan cap in the Luftwaffe M41 tropical pattern, with a one piece triangular eagle/cockade patch on the front, a single dished button on the earflaps, and a red cloth liner stamped "Franz Ritter/vorm./CARL ROTH/Dettingen/1942" and "G.59". 3) General officer's tropical cap, green cloth construction with tropical brown eagle patch on the top and a "poofy" style bevo cockade with golden trim. Waffenfarbe is gold, with a wire triangle and cellon (cellophane jacketed thread) crown and flap trim. The interior is red fabric lined, with a short forehead sweatband and Erel Sonderklasse makers marks on the sweat diamond.

Rating Definition:

1)Very good overall, with a few mild stains on the exterior, small spots of moth damage on the waffenfarbe, and mild handling marks overall. The sponge inside the sweatband has broken down from use and time. 2) Fair as a hand made reproduction, with stains and mild wear. 3) Very good, with some light handling marks overall. The sweatband is showing a tear on one side.
