Mauser Banner 1939 Dated Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster

Chamber dated 1939 and toggle marked with the Mauser banner. "Crown/U" commercial proofs on left side of barrel extension and breech block. "Droop stick wing eagle over "6" proof on the side plate. The safety area and extractor marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Matching complete and partial serial numbers fixed sights, straw colored small parts, nickel magazine marked "GERMANY/7,65" on the pot metal base and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Comes with a "epi/1941", eagle swastika over "WaA195" and "P.08" marked holster.

ConditionFine as refinished with 98% blue finish remaining, showing some muzzle and high edges. Numbers on some small parts such as takedown lever and side plate have been renumbered to match gun. There is some minor pitting under the finish on the barrel. Most of the refurbished straw color remains on the small parts. The grips are very fine with some handling wear and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically fine. The holster is poor with heavy age cracking on the front, the strap is in two-pieces and the stitching is tight.
