Description:

Ramp mounted glove front sight and a flat quarter rib on the octagon barrel, with German "crown/letter" proofs on the underside. A leafy scroll engraving is present on the frame, with checkerboard patterns atop the chamber and adjustable peep sight on the rear. Checkered straight wrist stock, with a Schnabel tip forearm, floral carvings, a raised right handed cheekpiece and an engraved patch box and buttplate. With an adjustment key for the rear sight and some loose components.

Rating Definition:

Fair. Traces of the original blue is present on the barrel, and 20% of the original case colors, with areas of brown patina and extensive oxidation on the metal overall, along with some light handling marks. The underside of the barrel appears to have been fitted with a new forearm lug. Stock is good as repaired, with some filled in cracks and scattered dings. The front sight fits the barrel ramp, but does not lock into place. Mechanically very good.
