Description:

1) "Return of the Belle" by Robert Taylor, #1169/1250, depicting the Memphis Belle over the English countryside circa 1942. 21 inches tall and 31 inches wide, in a 29 1/2 x 39 3/4 frame, with signatures in pencil from the artist and 8 crew members. 2) "Gathering of Eagles", Taylor #855/1000, depicting Allied Spitfires and Mustangs defending B-17s from attacking German FW-109s. 19 inches tall and 26 inches wide in a 27 1/2 x 34 3/4 frame, with 8 signatures. 3) "Low Holding over the San Jacinto", Taylor, #465/100, depicting future President George H.W. Bush's Torpedo Squadron 51 flying over the named carrier. 19 1/2 inches tall and 27 3/4 inches wide in a 28 x 36 1/2 frame, with 10 signatures, including Bush. 4) "The Doolittle Raiders" by Bryan Moon, #439/980, depicting 2 Doolittle Bombers flying low over the ocean. Signatures on the print include Doolittle, his copilot, navigator and Brigadier General Richard Knoblock, and attached to the print is a piece of metal attributed as field-salvaged from a Doolittle Bomber that went down in China following the raid. 20 1/2 inches tall and 22 1/4 inches wide in a 26 3/4 x 30 frame.
