Made in 1945. Fixed sights, with later third style slide markings of: "REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." and "P" on top of the slide. The frame has the initials "F.J.A." for Frank J. Atwood, with "NO." style serial number marking, stamped trigger, thin hammer, serrated mainspring housing and slide catch, Keyes Fiber grips, "L" stamped magazine and High Standard barrel.

Very fine, with 90% of the original parkerized finish, showing bright edge wear, some takedown marks on the frame, hints of a brown patina on the front grip strap and scattered handling marks. The Atwood inspection mark is double-stamped. Grips are very good, with some mild dents and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
