Description:

The receiver was manufactured in late 1937. The barrel is stamped "S A/flaming bomb/11- 42" and has the standard front and rear sights. The top flat of the bolt handle is stamped with an "X". Mounted on an earlier production World War I era smooth walnut straight grip stock with finger grooves, two reinforcing bolts, a boxed "W.E.S." cartouche, a circled "P" proofmark and a checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refurbished, 90% of the dark green parkerized finish remains with high edge and handling wear along with scattered minor scratches and dings. There are some areas of pitting under the finish. The refinished stock is very good with scattered dings, scratches and wear. Mechanically excellent.
