Description:

Manufactured circa 1943. The barrel is stamped with a "W" and with a "W/P" proofmark. Has the first style barrel band, a 2 rivet handguard, a straight faced slide, a two position flip rear sight, a flat bolt, an unmarked magazine release and a push button safety. Mounted on a high wood walnut stock with a "W.R.A./G.H.D." and a crossed cannon cartouche on the right side and a "W" in the sling cutout. With a green web sling.

Rating Definition:

Professionally restored, 98% of the dark green parkerized finish remains with some scattered minor scratches and high edge/cycling wear. The bolt retains 95% of a black parkerized finish with some cycling wear. The lightly sanded stock is very good with some scattered minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
