The massive barrel is fitted with a 47 inch sighting tube with a rubber eye piece and rear ring that is adjustable for elevation and windage. There is a 1 5/8 inch tall post front sight and a swivel hook on each side of the muzzle, (purpose unknown at this time) and there is a 5/8 inch square, 6 1/4 inch piece of iron attached to the bottom barrel flat 8 1/2 inches back of the muzzle for stability. Under hammer action with a bright alloy receiver and mounted with a smooth pistol grip stock with a cheek piece and aluminum buttplate. The rifle weighs 49 1/2 pounds.

Very good as custom built. The barrel has a smooth brown patina. The receiver remains bright. The scope is slightly bent downward from the front mount forward. It is very difficult to see anything through the scope. The eye piece is ill-fitting. The action needs work as it does not function properly and the percussion nipple is absent. The stock is good with a large chip repair on top of the wrist, a small nick on top of the comb and some minor handling marks.
