Description:

Measuring 5 3/4 inches tall and 12 3/4 inches long in flat horizontal orientation, this is a miniature model of a breech loading Hotchkiss gun with a mobile breech block and a spring-loaded recoil absorber assembly installed on a naval style pintle. Overall construction is steel and brass, with a rubber action lever cover and shoulder rest. With a glass sided display case, 15 1/2 inches long, 5 1/2 inches wide and 8 inches tall.

Rating Definition:

Miniature is excellent, with a well aged patina on the brass and a bright appearance overall on the steel, showing some light spotting, mild cracks on the shoulder rest, and light handling marks overall. The case is good, but the wood around screws holding the pintle in place have striped out (screws present).
