Manufactured in 1973. This example started life as a Colt MKIV Series 70 1911 pistol and was turned into a bullseye target pistol. There is a Bo-Mar sight rib attached to the top of the replacement Clark 6 inch slide that is engraved '"Clark" LONG HEAVY SLIDE .45/SHREVEPORT, LA." on the left side. The barrel is unmarked. The bushing is fit extremely tight to the slide. The front strap has been stippled and the frame is fitted with a set of fully checkered walnut grips.

Excellent as custom assembled, the frame retains 98% of the original blue finish with some cleaned oxidation near the mainspring housing retaining pin, the front strap has been stippled, there is a light takedown mark and some scattered minor scratches. The replacement slide retains 98% of it's original blue finish with some high edge wear and some scratches near the muzzle. The rear sight is slightly bent on the left side. The grips are both excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
