This revolver is a unique variation of "The Legend" special edition revolver for Steve Northcott to commemorate his win of the 1996 World Champion Team Roping title. He was the heeler. The left front of the barrel is engraved with his signature and the right side is engraved "1996 WORLD CHAMPION TEAM ROPING HEELER". There are gold highlighted flourishes of floral scroll on the cylinder. The right side of the frame shows a pair of cowboy boots with gold highlights and is marked "P.R.C.A.-1996" in gold. The butt has three gold horseshoes engraved on it. Fitted with ivory grips. With a Colt Custom Shop leatherette case, factory letter that confirms the configuration and that it was shipped as one to The Gun Company in Odessa, Texas on September 23rd, 1997.

Near new with a few scattered minor handling/storage marks and a light drag line on the cylinder. The case is very good.
