Manufactured in 1938. Hooded ramp bead front and bolt-mounted peep rear sights, with a dovetail block in the rear sight position on the barrel along with the standard markings on both the barrel and tang. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a two-thirds length magazine, semi-beavertail forearm, and a checkered flat buttstock.

Very good as period refinished, with 95% of the high polish, moderately buffed reblued finish, showing mild sub-surface pitting, scattered spotting and some handling marks overall. The revarnished stock is very fine, with light scratches and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
