Manufactured in 1954. Has a hooded nickel beaded blade front sight on a stippled ramp, the rear sight dovetail has a filler block and there is a Lyman sight mounted to the left side of the receiver. The "W/P" in an oval proofmark is stamped on the top rear of the barrel and top front of the receiver. Mounted on a nicely figured smooth semi-beavertail walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate. With a leather claw sling.

Very fine, 97% plus of the original blue finish remains with some high edge and handling wear along with some scattered minor scratches. The sight has some areas of minor pin prick pitting. The refinished wood is fine with non-factory mounted detachable sling swivels, scattered minor scratches, dings and finish wear. Mechanically excellent.
