Manufactured in 1953 (receiver). Hooded ramp front sight and folding two leaf rear sight on a 25 inch barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech on the left side. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. Polished bolt numbered to gun (faint number), late safety, straight receiver tang and leather sling. The high comb pistol grip stock features checkering and a solid Winchester recoil pad.

Very fine as partially refinished (stock). The rifle retains 95% plus original blue finish showing some loss at the muzzle and some minor thinning. The re-oiled stock is very fine with a hairline crack near the receiver tang and a few minor handling marks with overall crisp checkering. The left side of the stock has been inletted for a now removed receiver sight. Mechanically excellent.
