Manufactured in 1961. Barrel manufactured without sights and stamped with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver with the receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Polished bolt numbered to gun, hallow bolt knob, late safety, straight receiver tang and sling swivels. Mounted on a checkered high comb pistol grip stock with a checkered plastic buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint with the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
