Manufactured in 1957. It is chambered in 220 Swift, a caliber for the pre-64 Model 70 featherweight rifle configuration that author Dean Whitaker lists as "production status unknown, although possibly produced in very small numbers on a special order or experimental basis." Barrel manufactured without sights and receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Polished bolt numbered to gun, straight receiver tang, late safety and sling swivels. The high comb pistol grip stock features checkering and a checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is very fine showing a few drips in the finish with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
