Manufactured in 1955 (receiver). It is chambered in .358 Winchester, a caliber cataloged from 1955-1958. The barrel was manufactured without sights and is marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. An oval Winchester factory proof is stamped on the barrel and receiver. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. Straight receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun and late safety. The checkered straight comb pistol grip stock features sling swivels and a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint with a couple minor pressure dents and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
