Manufactured in 1959 (receiver) and is in a varmint style configuration. Fitted with a heavy barrel tapped for scope/sight mounting, which is marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. The receiver is tapped for scope/sight mounting. The Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver. Straight receiver tang, late safety and polished bolt numbered to gun. Mounted on a varmint style, high comb checkered pistol grip stock without provisions for a forearm screw. The stock is fitted with a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The barrel has a smooth gray patina mixed with traces of blue finish. The remaining metal surfaces retain nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint with limited mild handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
