Manufactured in 1957. It is chambered in 243 Winchester and Super Grade Featherweight Model 70 rifles in 243 Winchester were manufactured as part of a limited production run. Hooded ramp front sight and folding adjustable leaf rear sight on a barrel marked with the Winchester legend on the left side. The Winchester factory oval proof is stamped on the left side of the barrel and receiver and the floor plate is marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Jewelled bolt, extractor and follower with the bolt numbered to the gun. Receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting, late safety, straight receiver tang and roughly milled quick release sling swivels. The high comb pistol grip stock features multi-point checkering, an ebony forend cap, a metal grip cap, a cheekpiece and a checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine as professionally refurbished/restored. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The stock is near mint showing a couple light pressure dents with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
