Description:

Relined three groove barrel. Stock without a patch box, saddle ring and bar mounted on the left wrist and Lawrence pellet priming system. The barrels were blued with casehardened barrel band, receiver, lever, hammer, and buttplate. Brass front sight blade and folding adjustable leaf rear sight with Lawrence patent marked base and graduated to 800 yards. The barrel is absent of the standard markings. The receiver and lock have the standard Sharps and Lawrence patent markings. Mounted with a smooth oil finished black walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a iron carbine buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The metal surfaces have a dark patina with scattered minor oxidation. The wood is also fair as revarnished with an old repaired break on the right side of the wrist, a large repaired piece on the toe, repairs on the heel and overall scattered minor gouges, dents, dings and scratches. The lock markings are clear, the receiver marking is partially visible, and as noted above the barrel markings are absent. The action is fine.
