Rating Definition:

Fine as partially refinished (cylinder). The barrel retains 75% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina on the balance, as well as some minor scuffs. The cylinder has been refinished and retains 25% blue finish and shows signs of having been heated up. The scene and markings are clear. The frame retains 50% original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The loading lever has strong original faded case colors on the left side with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The back strap and trigger guard retain 90% original silver plating with scattered speckled flaking, some darkening with age and an aged patina on the exposed brass. The grip is also very fine with 99% original varnish remaining showing some very slight lower edge wear, and a few minor dings and handling marks. Unless noted above, the markings are clear. The action is fine. The case is good as relined with some paint speckles, scuffs and dings on the exterior and a loose hinge. The lining shows a tear on the bottom, as well as some contact wear and fraying on the edges.
