Manufactured in 1895 and subsequently restored approximately 100 years later. This is a beautiful Model 1877 Thunderer revolver with a professional restoration (reportedly Turnbull). Fixed sights with the two line Hartford address on top of the barrel and "COLT. D.A. 41" on the left. The left side of the frame is marked with the three- line, three- patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The loading gate is numbered "236". Blue finish with casehardened frame, niter blue trigger and hammer (with polished sides), early "bullseye" ejector rod head and fitted with a one- piece checkered rosewood grip.

Professionally restored to near mint with a few thin gray streaks on the sides of the frame. The grips show a few minor dents and sharp checkering. The action is fine.
