Manufactured in 1901. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address, the left side is marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" and the two-line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial and assembly number "783" marked on the loading gate. Blade front, frame notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened frame, and fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Fine. The revolver retains 40% original blue finish mixed with brown and gray patina. The frame retains 25% faded original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. There is some minor spotting. The undersized replacement grips are very good plus with a few pin holes on the right panel, a minor chip on the right heel, and overall light handling marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine.
