Description:

1) Bicorne hat, black felt construction with silk trim on the edges, a gold ribbon over a black cockade on one side, and gold bullion accents on the ends. The interior has a black leather sweatband, black silk lining, and markings from the Horstmann Uniform Company of Philadelphia. 2) N.S. Meyer sword belt, black leather construction marked for size 30, with a gilt naval-themed buckle and a pair of sword hangers. 3) N.S. Meyer epaulettes, gold ribbon and bullion exterior construction with a gold bullion oak leaf device (Major/Lieutenant Commander) and brass mounting hardware. Note: Both epaulettes are marked as "LEFT" epaulettes. 4) Uniform item case, black leatherette exterior with a navy blue felt interior. Sufficient to accommodate the remainder of the lot.

Rating Definition:

1) Good, with damage to the sweatband, a detached liner, and wear along the edges. 2) Very good, with mild wear. 3) Very fine, with light scuffing on the undersides and a fine appearance overall. 4) Very good, showing mild wear. The mounting points for the epaulettes are a bit loose.
