Description:

The receiver, lock plates, under lever, trigger guard, selector switch and forearm hardware are engraved with oak leaf an acorn scroll. There is a red stag engraved on the left side of the receiver, a dog on point engraved on the left lock plate, a roe buck on the right side of the receiver and a rabbit on the right lock plate. Has a single set front trigger and a top lever selector. The barrels have a beaded blade front sight, a flip up rear sight on the solid rib which is engraved and silver inlaid "H. BRASS LANDAU". The barrels are choked .020.030 and have 2 1/2 inch chambers with an extractor. There are silver inlaid bands at the breech end of the barrels and the bottom of the rifle barrel is stamped "67/49". Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, silver initial shield and a checkered horn buttplate. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine, the barrels retain 75% of the original brown finish with scattered scratches and dings along with some scattered freckling. Nearly all of the Damascus pattern is visible. The casehardened components have a mostly bright appearance with some areas of darker discoloration. The refinished wood is very good with scattered dings, dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
