The lock is marked "LONDON/WARRANTED". Dovetailed brass blade front and fixed iron rear sights. Mounted with a full walnut stock with brass forend cap, trigger guard with grip extension, horse head patch box, crescent buttplate and three ramrod pipes securing a wooden ramrod. There is a 5 1/4 inch toe extension, push button release for the patch box on the buttplate tang, cheek piece with inset silver diamond and a silver thumb oval . "LONDON WARRANTY" marked on lock plate. Consignors notes state this is a rare boys rifle by Henry Albright with typical horse head patch box finial.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished/reconverted to flintlock configuration some time ago with a dark brown and dark patina on the barrel and a dark brown patina on the balance of the metal surfaces. The brass patch box has numerous dings and marks and has a bit of an aged patina. The stock has been revarnished, and remains good with some repaired cracks on the left side of the forearm area and the forward 5 3/4 inches of the forearm has been pieced in. The toe of the buttplate is ill-fitting. There is a crack on top of the wrist, and overall there are some minor dings and dents. The action is fine.
