Blade front and notch rear sights, with a rifled upper barrel and smooth-bore (16 gauge) lower barrel. The lock plates are lightly engraved, with a double-set trigger inside of a brass hand rest trigger guard. Both locks share the same trigger, which will fire both at once if both are cocked. Smooth straight wrist stock, with engraved German silver inlays, a small right handed cheekpiece with decorative American Eagle panel, a scroll engraved patch box and a brass buttplate.

Very good. The barrels show a mixed brown and gray patina, bright along the high edges, with some dents and tool marks towards the breech. Mild pitting is visible around the nipples, and the locks show a strong brown color. The stock is very good with evidence of revarnish, mild scratches and dings. Mechanically very good.
