This is an attractive example of a nice Kentucky Rifle with silver decorated stock. The back action lock is lightly engraved with two ducks in a marsh scene and marked "Henry Parker/Warranted". The top barrel flat is marked "J DOUGLASS" at the breech. The barrel is fitted with a blade front and fixed iron rear sights. Drum bolster, brass mountings, double set triggers and mounted with a full tiger strip maple , stock with a cheek piece and crescent buttplate with 3 inch toe extension. The brass left side plate and patch box are engraved with floral designs. The stock features 22 silver inlays of various designs. Comes with a wooden ramrod.

Good. The metal surfaces have a brown and gray patina with overall light oxidation. The stock is very good with a minor crack ahead of the left side plate, a chip on the left upper forearm and finish loss in the area of the hammer and bolster. Overall there are some minor dings and scratches. The brass components have an aged patina and the silver inlays have dulled somewhat with age. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is fine.
