Fixed blade and notch sights on the swamped barrel, which is engraved with scroll and leaf patterns at the muzzle and breech. Additional floral vinework is present on the lock plate, with designs of fantastic creatures on the lock and the jaws of the dog. Equipped with a double set trigger and an iron hand rest trigger guard. Smooth, full length stock with a bone tipped ramrod and extensive decoration; floral carved pearl discs and diamonds are scattered about, bone scroll inlay, and bone panels with more fantastic creatures are plentiful as well. A long right handed cheekpiece is built into the butt, with a sliding patch box lid on the reverse. A brass accented iron spanner/screwdriver is included. Very good with a few brown areas on the bright steel, and some scattered light pitting and handling marks. The wood is good with a few small repairs and areas of material loss. The inlay is superb, with only a few replaced sections. Mechanically untested.
