Description:

Produced around 1620-1630. 45 inches overall, with a 39 inch lozenge section blade, marked "TOMAS EAIALA" in the single fullers. Iron hilt, with pierced-through designs on the shell guards, "S" profile cross guard with turned leaf-shaped quillions, spiral ribbed wire wrapped grip, and a four-lobed pommel with light leaf shaped engraving. It has a continental European hilt and Spanish blade from the mid-17th century. The pommel and guard match.

Rating Definition:

Fair, with a gray patina and scattered pitting overall. The blade shows mild dings and a slight rightward bend, with a small section absent from the guard and a minor amount of play in the pommel.
