Two ear flaps are riveted to hinges that are riveted to the skull beneath the visor pivot. One flap has a small hole and the other a small post at the front for latching. The pig face visor is composed of 3 pieces with the main portion having a hinge near the pivot point for a wider range and smoother pivot. With a stand. The rondel was on the back of the helmet to hold a cape which was the style at the time.
