Description:

1) Ryo-shinogi yari pattern spear head, 14 3/8 inches overall with a 4 1/2 inch diamond cross-section blade showing wavy temper lines. The tang is signed with 6 engraved symbols on the obverse and 9 on the reverse. With a shirasaya-style storage case. 2) Signed tanto-style blade, 14 1/2 inches overall with a 10 7/8 inch blade, showing a wavy temper line and attractive grain. Two mekugi-ana (one filled) are present on the tang, with a 2-symbol signature on the left side. With a silver plated habaki with geometric patterns and shirasaya fittings.

Rating Definition:

1) Very good, with light spotting and handling marks on the blade, a good temper line, and light handling marks overall. 2) Excellent, with light handling marks overall.
