Green-colored cord wrap over white rayskin on the grip, with gilt copper fittings, a spring-loaded retainer in the fuchi, and cherry blossom menuki. The left side of the tang bears an engraved 6-symbol signature with 3 painted symbols. With a black enamel finished alloy saya. 2) Japanese-style sword, 34 1/2 inches long overall with a 24 1/2 inch blade, a straight hamon and a silver-finished copper habaki. Round iron tsuba with one spacer, green cord wrap over a black treated canvas base, and stamped shin-gunto style fittings. With a black lacquer finished saya.

1) Fine. Light scratches and spotting are visible on the blade, with a few small chips along the edge and other light handling marks. Mild stains and fraying on the wrap, with some tears of the rayskin and mild handling marks. The saya is good, with some flaking of the paint and a few screws absent from the fittings. 2) Good, with a solid temper line and mild handling marks overall.
