There is an ample amount of tight floral scroll engraving on the receiver, lock plates, trigger guard, cartridge trapdoor and hammers. The barrels have a beaded blade front sight, a flip up rear sight, are choked .005/.027, have 3 inch chambers with an extractor. Has a front single set trigger, a top lever selector and a folding peep sight on the top tang. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, cartridge trap and serrated horn buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Fine, the barrels retain traces of the original blue finish with a mostly brown/plum patina on the balance. There are also scattered patches of minor pitting and dents on the barrels. The side lever, trigger guard and grip cap retain 80% of the original high polish blue finish. The casehardened components retain 25% of the bright original case colors in the protected areas with a mostly smooth silvery patina on the balance and a couple small spots of oxidation. The right lock is missing a pin. The wood is very good with scattered scratches and dings. The buttplate has some scattered worm damage. Mechanically excellent.
