A) Early Production Kokura Arsenal Type 14 Small Trigger Guard Nambu Pistol

Description:

Manufactured in November of 1929, this is a very early production Nambu Pistol. Fixed sights, with the Kokura Arsenal cannonball stamp on the right side of the frame next to the serial number and the "4.11" Showa date stamp. Fitted with a knurled, ribbed cocking knob, an pair of ribbed grips, a nickel finished alloy base magazine, and a canvas lanyard with leather sliders.

Rating Definition:

Fair, with traces of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, scattered spotting and handling marks. Shallow pitting is also present. The straw colors have faded to brown, with bright original color in the protected areas. Grips are good, with mild chipping and dings. Some numbers mixed. The magazine well safety has been disabled, otherwise mechanically very good.

Description:

Manufactured in July 1940 (Showa 15.7). Fixed sights, standard markings and checkered grips, with a matching numbered magazine and a brown leather flap holster.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 85% of the faded original blue finish, showing some areas of light brown spotting, mixed patina and bright edge wear. The grips are very good, with some mild dents and scuffs. The holster shows some minor cracking and scuffs. Mechanically very good.
