Manufactured between 1949 and 1956. Has a drift adjustable front sight stamped "6" on the side and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The top of the receiver has the "AL" marking found on Luxembourg contract rifles. The receiver, bolt carrier, top cover and stock are all stamped with the serial number "6585". Mounted on a smooth walnut stock with finger grooves, a small circular cartouche in front of the magazine, 1 reinforcing bolt, sling swivels and a cupped steel buttplate with trapdoor (empty). Very fine, 85% plus of the black painted finish remains with scattered scratches, edge wear and some flaking. The stock is very good with numerous scattered scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is also very good.
