Manufactured between 1949 and 1956. This example has the Venezuelan coat of arms marked on the top of the receiver. The receiver, top cover, rear of the bolt carrier and bolt are all stamped with the serial number "5254". The barrel is equipped with a flash hider. Has a drift adjustable front sight stamped "7,2" and an elevation adjustable rear sight. Mounted on a smooth walnut stock with finger grooves, a circular cartouche on the right side of the buttstock, a small circular cartouche in front of the magazine and a ribbed steel buttplate. Comes with an unmarked bayonet, scabbard and leather sling.

Excellent, 97% of the original black painted finish remains with some high edge and cycling wear along with some scattered minor scratches. The stock is near excellent with a few scattered minor scratches and dings along with a 2 inch long tight hairline crack on the top left of the wrist. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is very good.
