Blade and tangent sights with the Venezuelan crest on top of the receiver ring, Belgian proofs on the left side and the two line maker's mark/address on the sidewall. Milled components with matching number on the bolt. Bright receiver with niter blue trigger and takedown catch. Smooth stock with a matching number on the right side and a flat buttplate.

Excellent with 98% of the original blued finish overall with some minor edge wear with the receiver and bolt showing the original, "in the white" factory finish that has an old coat of dried grease/oil showing around the edges of the receiver and receiver ring where the wood meets the metal. The markings are clear and sharp. The stock is also near excellent showing some minor dings and light pressure dents concentrated towards the buttplate and scattered handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent. A super nice, high condition, prewar FN contract rifle.
